['kiːsɪ], Ken Elton, amerikanischer Schriftsteller, * La Junta (Colorado) 17. 9. 1935, ✝ Eugene (Oregon) 10. 11. 2001; wurde nach dem Studium u. a. an der Stanford University rasch zu einer zentralen Figur der Hippiekultur; verfasste den erfolgreichen Roman »One flew over the cuckoo's nest« (1962; deutsch »Einer flog über das Kuckucksnest«; Film 1975 von M. Forman), der die Metapher der geschlossenen psychiatrischen Anstalt zu scharfer Kritik an der amerikanischen Gesellschaft benutzt.
